COASTLINE #8 - MEDIA: acrylic on double thick canvas
H: 40" x W: 40"x 2 (DIPTYCH)
In this diptych , through the colors, built up texture (paint and sand), composition of open space and aesthetics, away from traditional painting, I try to bring the atmosphere, abstract vision of the beauty of Australia from above.
AN AUSTRALIAN COASTLINE - Created in 2020
MEDIUM: acrylic paint, modelling paste, varnish.
H: 40" x W: 30"X2 (DIPTYCH)
Inspired by love and freedom, oceans, beaches, the infinite land, I want to share with you my vision of this picturesque country.

I am wishing my viewers will see the process under the layers of paint, thick texture of modelling paste, and delicate lines of paint, and finally the reason for my idea and the motivation, before they will see the title.
COSTLINE#6 - MEDIUM: oil on stretched canvas
H: 40" x 30"
I am continuing on the coastline of Australia series, but in bigger, more colorful format. Nowadays, we should put plenty of colours in our lives, and try to forget what is happening around the world.
COASTLINE #7 - MEDIUM: oil on double thick stretched canvas
H: 40" x 30"

Inspired by love and freedom, oceans, beaches, the infinite land, I want to share with you my vision of this picturesque country.
I am wishing my viewers will see the process under the layers and glaze of the oil paint.
AN AUSTRALIAN COASTLINE #1 - MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas
H: 30" X W: 20"
There is no better way to start a new project on Australia Day, than this one. The total coastline of Australia is over 35 thousand kilometers, over 60 thousand including islands.
The idea for the project was getting bigger and more intense each time I was returning home on an airplane observing the great-untamed beauty of this continent, where I raised my children and completed my art education.
This year (2019) I decided to commence my long planned project and put it to canvas.

After the invitation to participate in COVIMETRY, the global manifestation of geometric art, I decide to create four geometric art pieces.
I am presenting here the first ELEMENT, the earth under the title: Sand Color Palette.
The composition and size of my paintings stays the same. What more can I say about working on this series? PRECISION, aesthetic, carefully mixed colors, perfect composition are the keys which fulfill my IDEAS !
WATER COLOR PALETTE - MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas
H: 30" x W: 20"
I have Iinished my Iirst painting about the sand palette - EARTH, and the idea grew in my head, why not to keep going to achieve the four ELEMENTS ?

The FIRE will be my next from the elements, following by Air (how will I portray the Air ?)

LOCKDOWN - MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas
H: 30" x W: 20"
Over our life time we can lose our identity.
Sometimes it is caused by the environment we have found ourselves in, sometimes we are trying to find the lost link between reality and unusual situations. The PANDEMIC years have made us more vulnerable than ever.

Created in times of COVID-19, this portrait depicts a girl with a lipstick. The paper wall behind, contains numbers of pandemic years. Kept in a vector style, with purple, lilac, blue colors, and a yellow mask over her face, this portrait retains the familiar concept, which we all know.
No lipstick or fancy clothes, just loneliness and confusion.
THE HIDDEN TRUTH - MEDIUM: acrylic on double thick canvas
H: 30" x 20"
My painting was created in times of COVID-19, when the whole World was affected by this mysterious virus.
All of us are awaiting truthful responses to our questions, which may never be answered. Step by step we are trying to get closer to the place where the truth is no longer kept from us.The horizontal and vertical lines lead us to the middle part of the painting, where we can only find semi visible crossbars protecting the truth.
THE SEVENTH WAVE - MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas
H:30" x W: 20"

Created in times of "COVID-19", this work does NOT resembles a sunset over the ocean. My intention is to show the numbers of waves coming and going, knowing that the seventh one usually is the strongest.
IT IS NOT A PREDICTION !
Kept on a blue background, with wavy multicolour lines, with a few strong, yellow horizontal lines, representing the statistics of the present time. The footprints on the lower part of the painting show our presence.
THE HORIZONTAL LINE - MEDIUM: acrylic on stretched canvas
H: 40" x 40"
Created in times of the covid pandemic, this painting portrays a cloudy sky, ocean and a sandy beach. Australia closed borders!
At the foreground appears a rusty object. It could be a metal fence, for me it is a rusty barier. I am giving the power of interpretation to the viewer.
Across the painting there is a horizontal stripe. It is much thicker than a horizontal line in nature, because it holds all the memories, dreams, yearnings or thoughts of the members of our families during our present moment.
Each time I am at the beach, my eyes go to the horizon of the ocean. I can see, that I am not the only one. I can see people looking the same way with sadness in their eyes.
