      EMISSION CONTROLE #1 - acrylic on canvas H: 26" x 26"
Air pollution is a major risk to human health and our environment.
Around 5.5 million people globally are vanishing due to air pollution.
The most deadly pollutants are heavy metals, gasses and fine particulates
in the air we are breathing.
There are many sources of air pollution: burning of fossils fuels in electricity generation, transport, waste treatment, industry and households.
We have made the WORLD as it is today.
With this sentence and my paintings I wish to bring awareness to this most important subject, our environment.
      EMISSION CONTROL #2 - acrylic on canvas H: 26" x W: 26"
This is the second part of the Diptych "EMISSION CONTROL". Contains statistic of 2016, of our polluted globe. Air pollution is a major risk to human health and our environment.

SALT OF THE LAND #1 - Diptych: acrylic on stretched canvas and moulding acrylic paste medium
H: 36” x W: 24”
I was inspired by the pollution free salt production in Africa, the way of mixing salty earth with water and leaving the mud for evaporation. The colors and the unique shapeless ponds were glued into my mind for many years. Last year flying over colorful basins in San Francisco, I decided to release my desires and painted what was in my memory for a long time.

SALT OF THE LAND #4 - acrylic on stretched canvas and moulding acrylic paste medium
H: 36” x W: 24”

      SORROW - acrylic on canvas H: 40" x 30"
"SORROW", was the first painting I have created after the Orlando terror attack on 12 June 2016. This cruel and violence aggression on innocent, happy young people, had a deep impact on my creative life. The roses of different colours symbolise the colours of all of us.
      BIRTHMARK - acrylic on canvas H: 40" x W: 30BIRTHMARK.
The title is significant in this situation. We can’t choose, who we will become, this was chosen for us before we came to this world.
This painting I have created in time of deep sorrow after the horrific act in Orlando, Florida on 12 June 2016.
      UNTITLED - oil on stretched canvas H: 40" x W: 30
In my "UNTITLED" painting, I have tried to achieve something new. Something that will show our struggle within our current lives (2020). The colors, textures, thick and thin glaze of the oil paint, the depth of the background, depict the abstract idea of the collective trauma experienced in today’s world.
In this unique original composition with strong colors, and marks, I am presenting my own visual interpretation.
As you observe the whole piece, I am truly hopeful that the symbolism is clearly explained and the reason why I had to create it. The yellow colour stands for happiness, optimism, brightness, but the red in my work is for the warning signal that comes with impending danger.
THE FIRE BALL - "THE FIRE BALL" is one of my paintings of the series OFF THE FIRE, created in WA, and exhibited in 1997.
Combined two disciplines: the print making and painting, I’ve created this image in 1996. Bushfires are constant threat in many parts of Australia
The number of bushfires varied from 46,000 to 62,000, average 54,00 fires per year- (THE AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTIVITY COMMISSION 1996)
      DESTINATION UNKNOWN - oil on canvas H: 39.5" x 29.5"
The growing population, urbanisation, industrialisation are only few factors which create a demand for new planet.
Hundreds of small worlds awaiting discovery, some of which are similar to our planet Earth in size, and maybe even life-friendly.
Looking for another planet continues, and the question reminds- IS LIFE SOMEWHERE THERE? What if is NOT?
Can we reverse the destruction caused by humankind and natural disasters? Environmental protection, preservation of existing natural resources, like sunlight, water, air, soil, and minerals, could save our planet.
The "DESTINATION UNKNOWN" is the abstract, which doesn’t have an answer.
